Looking for a company that are experts in sash window repairs?

Are you looking for a friendly, family run, professional business to repair, restore or renovate the sash windows in your listed building?

Why not give MCR Joinery a call?

Based near Newark, Nottinghamshire, our apprentice served joiners are experienced, efficient and provide you with the beautiful windows that your property deserves. We serve Newark, Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Although the Company was established in 2005 we have many more years’ experience in specialist joinery, conservation works and of course sliding sash windows.

Benefits of overhaul and repair over complete replacement windows

Usually all of the work can be carried out from inside the building, particularly useful for windows which are difficult to access externally. No disturbance of existing internal plastering or the moulding surrounding the windows. Minimum disturbance to decoration.

Retains as much of the original window as possible. Of course should you decide upon complete new windows we can manufacture and fit complete new traditional construction sliding sash windows with mouldings and detail as the original windows but manufactured to incorporate draught sealing and double glazing to Building Regulations standard.

Double glaze your sash windows

We offer a variety of sash window services to suit your property and budget. Our overhaul service will retain almost all of your existing

window and sliding casements whilst giving you operational and draught free windows.

This option is particularly suited to listed properties as the works are approved by conservation departments and do not require Listed Building Consent.

Further options are to fit slimline or standard double glazed units into new sliding casements. Whilst any of the above work is being carried out we can carry out necessary repairs to the outer box framework and cills.

Accoya

We can manufacture your new windows, casements and carry out repairs in a variety of materials, however we would recommend Accoya.

This material is sustainably grown and has a long life expectancy in manufactured joinery. www.accoya.com
